Quick Snorkel Session

Not all days are full of sharks and rays! Some days you just enjoy the scenery and incredible seascapes. 

The water was a little rough and chilly today. Not bad enough to keep me out of the water though! While we saw a lot of the "regulars" (group of yellow tang, large parrotfish, porcupinefish...) in our swim spot, we didn't see sharks or eagle rays today. After some searching, we did find the Helmet Gurnard that hangs around our beach! They spread their pectoral fins to appear bigger and avoid becoming a snack for other sea creatures. It's always fun to find this guy in the shallow water.
